The Health First Colorado (Medicaid) has learned that scammers are targeting Medicaid and CHP+ members through text messages and phone calls. They are telling members they must pay to keep or renew their health coverage. Medicaid never asks members or applicants for money, bank account or credit card information, social security numbers or any other financial information through text or over the phone. Do not give out your personal information through a text or phone call.
Please report any suspected scam activity to the Attorney General Consumer Protection Unit.

1. The Contact Center will schedule an enrollment appointment.
Enrollment visits are performed over the phone and take anywhere from 30-90 minutes. They should be completed before your first visit. This visit helps you enroll in any insurance and/or discount program that you are eligible for.
